Semester One
ANHS 1003 - Foundations for Ancient History: Greece
EDUF 1018 - Education, Teachers & Teaching
ENGL 1020 - Literary Mythologies
HSTY 1076 - American History from Lincoln to Clinton

Semester Two
ANHS 1004 - Power & Persuasion: Near East & Rome
EDUF 1019 - Human Development & Education (not looking forward to this one, but it's compulsory)
ENGL 1015 - Inventing Modernity
HSTY 1031 - Renaissance & Reformation
american history is tha shiznit. hope stephen's still doing it, the man's a national treasure, kiwi or not. best. lecturer. ever.

inventing modernity is a shock - it's actually english literature. HSC students haven't done THAT since year nine. make sure you work out what modernity actually IS.

can't remember subject codes, but who cares:
ENGL - american literature: imagining america
ICLS - love in different languages (NB: - is ANYONE else doing this?)
GOVT - american politics & foreign policy
ASNS - australia & asia: ripples & reflections

sem 2:
ENGL - reading sexuality (oh come on, like i wasn't going to do THAT. you study freud, lolita and boogie night. i mean...)
HSTY - cultural transmissions 1750 - 1914

i can't even remember what my other two are, i know one's another hsty unit, but my stupid puta won't log into self admin. technology is stupid, people, stick with books and ya can't go wrong.

I can assure u that u will love this subject. It's ten times better than EDUF1018, and it's ten times more interesting! I loved it. You'll especially love it if Dr. Stephie takes it again. Just wait and see, but I can bet you that you'll enjoy it :)

English is really different in Uni. Inventing Modernity is a bitch. But I guess you won't know for sure until you try it :p
