you mean like that pressure to perform that every football team, hell every football player is under to perform?
dragons and dragons players always seem to be under a little bit extra pressure

well if you read back a few pages on this thread you would realise who i supported

and then realise i actually spent the end of 2005 closer to crying then laughing lol

West Tiger's are probably my second favourite team after the Dragons...... the football they play, and played in 2005, is/was awesome... the supporters aren't too bad either... you join there army at any of the games?

but sorry i don't think you can win the competition this year, and will maybe even struggle to make the 8..... John Morris will need to step up and Benji will need to play at least 90% of the season (which i hope he does, one of my favourite players to watch)

and yeah i realise Dragons are chokers and haven't won a competition etc etc.... hopefully with Barrett gone and a new look change things may change.... if not im sure they will at least be competitive again

well it already looks like it wont be the year of the Titan

shortly after releasing Turner back to the Storm, key signing Matt Rogers sprained his ankle at training and Brian Carney quit

this already on top of Frank Puletua also quitting earlier

Hi everyone! It's been a while =/

I successfully got a transfer to Comm/Law, sweeeeet. And in first year uni, I managed to meet James King (Lazarus, the bloke who made BOS) and talk to him a few times -- he's such a great guy.

Anyway, NRL 2007!

My Top 8 in Alphabetical Order:

Brisbane, Canterbury, Manly, Melbourne, New Zealand, Newcastle, Parramatta, St George Illawarra.

If I had to put them in ladder order, it would be roughly:

1. Melbourne
2. Newcastle
3. Parramatta
4. St George Illawarra
5. Canterbury
6. Brisbane
7. Manly
8. New Zealand

Penrith now have a great coach, but not sure of their ability.
Roosters have potential, but don't have the depth up front. Without injuries, they could make the Finals.
Cronulla -- well they're totally screwed. They got Stuart, then Albert left, and now Ben Ross is gone for what looks to be a long time. I don't even know if that's made the news yet .. but a friend of mine saw Ross injure his knee badly a few days ago at training.
Canberra have lost too much individual talent as well as one of the NRL's better coaches.
Titans are too new to be consistently successful in 07.
Cowboys have lost talent, but still have enough to make the Finals. However, a few early losses will be curtains for them, after a horror 20 weeks of 2006.
Rabbitohs will improve, now that they have half the NZ team. But not enough.
Tigers have lost Prince, which will hurt Marshall's game. If he goes down, they will challenge for the spoon. If he doesn't, they will be around 8-10 on the ladder, I think.
