hmm, as much as i like 24hpp, it doesn't exactly offer any insight into curtis' psychology or even let us feel much of an emotional connection to him. the tone of the film is consistently snarky and flippant (in a good way)

i really hope the biopic takes an interesting approach;, there's so much potential for it to be a totally maudlin/melodramatic oscar-magnet.

oh yay, it's becoming the most well-received film at cannes so far.

wong kar-wai's latest, and first english-language film, my blueberry nights has met a lukewarm reception.

also at cannes, the coens' no country for old men is getting pretty massive raves. return to form, w00t.
