Re: Top 200 Schools - Daily Telegraph

46th...a modest rise from 49th last year...but nowhere the 28th achieved in 2005. It looks like there was a decline in Mathematics Extension 1 and Extension 2 band E4s (where most of the DAs come from), but it was made up by a slight increase in Mathematics band 6s which made Sefton 28th in Maths...similar to previous years (bar 2005 lol)

There also seemed to be an increase in band 6s across most subjects, but a decline in English band 6s/E4s especially in English Extension 1 and Extension 2 which made Sefton fall to 138th in English...lol :(

wtf @ Sydney Technical High School. Went from 23rd to 33rd. Used to be 15th a few years ago. The years keep getting more dropkicks. Our year is even worse than this one -_-

Awesome! 1st for 13 years in a row. Great work Ruse 08! Hopefully we'll break 900 credits next year. Also congrats to Baulko and everyone else who completed their HSC, take a well deserved break for a month or two before uni applications come back :)

Wooz said:
What a shame. They'll be expelling students who get less than 90% in their trials next year for non-serious academic attempts.

SMH: "Malek Fahd Islamic School slipped from 9th position last year to 11th this year. The Herald has revealed Malek Fahd's pooper-performing students in recent years have been completing HSC courses at TAFE so thair marks would not drag down the school's overall performance.
I'd like to tell you: Fuck you.
After the Herald's 'exposé', our Principal pulled everyone in TAFE out the next day. No students from Malek Fahd Islamic School sat HSC exams at TAFE in 2009.
Sorry for informing you of the truth the Herald likes to misinform individuals about; or, rather, not report the whole truth.

My school made the top 100 (85) :) we were the first group to graduate too, so i think we did pretty well.
