People at my school said that they don't actually do a CAFS HSC set Exam.
That they do one set by the teacher?
This is so incorrect. As some teachers make easiest test than others. They would also mark harder or easier than some.

Our Study Advisor said if there was any clashes you have to contact the BOS. I don't know what they could do though.
I'm guessing you just have to do them straight after each other. But then I don't know how that would work if you had a clash in the morning and an exam in the afternoon as well?
I had a clash (Italian and Retail), and today I got a letter from the BOS telling me they simply moved one of the exams to the afternoon for me.
So I suppose if they dont get a letter soon they should contact the board of studies
I was very suprised how quickly I got a letter about that considering the timetable was only published today!

You cannot do them at a different time to the rest of the HSC students. As you could know someone and get information from the test.

Don't know how they would do it. But he has to contact the school who will in turn contact BOS.
Well I had a clash, and got a letter from the BOS and they did move one of my exams to a time after everyone else had done it, but the conditions are I am not allowed to talk to anybody but my supervior bewteen my morning and afternoon exam, i am not allowed to use any electronic device between the exams, all i can do is quiet study and eat.
So it is possible to sit for the exam at a different time to everyone else.

3 hours is a long time to maintain concentration... But we may finish early so mehh.

Plus, i'm not happy with the timetable - my subjects are really close together. Like, one day after the other for basically all my subjects :(

But I only have one day where I have two exams together (General Maths and Food Tech).

ARGH!!!!!!!!!! WORST TIMETABLE EVER!!!

17 Oct English
20 English
24 Legal Studies
27 Math 2U
28 Economics AND Modern History
29 3U Math
30 3U English

WHAT THE HELL!!!

Who in their right mind would put economics and modern history on the same day; the number of students getting a double exam day must be absolutely phenomonal

Does anybody else find that having the dates for the exams made it seem a lot more real?
Yeah. Makes it seem like no time at all.

Is it possible that they will change the time table between now and the actual exams??

I wish Chem was first to get it over and done with.
Rather then IT.

How random is it having Business Studies first
Its good there is a weekend between English Paper 1 and Paper 2.

My timetable is ok i guess, but i have 5 of my exams in the first 2 weeks, modern on the 28th then business services 2 weeks later! :mad1: Im also the only one who does it at my school, so I'll celebrate finishing my last exam alone :haha:

I guess it will be good to have two weeks to study, but id prefer it for a subject i actually cared about

Oh okay.
But i suppose you would have to be in the examination hall?

That has to suck. I mean you wouldn't be able to do anything.
