that's quite good, except putting maths and english on the same day : |
The first wednesday of the timetable was an 'exam free day' - but our maths teacher thought, because we couldn't 'handle' it, he'd change the mathematics extension exam until then.

I didn't see anything wrong with having maths then ext maths that afternoon :|

good luck to you. :) how are you finding japanese?

re: Preliminary Yearlies Discussion Thread

Everyone says: "I'll actually start trying next term" BUT how many of us actually do try? do you mean putting more of an effort in or actually studying, making notes, retaining knowledge in long-term memory? :haha:
I will definitely start trying next term, no doubt about it. But, the thing is.. I haven't been trying in maths/maths ext/japanese/society and culture/chemistry; How am i going to learn knowledge built upon (especially maths haha..) when i don't even know the simple stuff?

I have a lot of catching up to do...

I mean actually doing work in all my subjects other than maths, since that's the only thing that counts towards next year. i've done as much work as has been required of me this year, but next term I'm going to kick into gear. Until then, I'm just cruising.

See, I did the opposite. I didn't try at all.

OMG! I hate stupid exams especially the ones that can make you not do the HSC course! Anyone that does exams here that stresses and forgets everything, but usually is very smart?:mad1:

re: Preliminary Yearlies Discussion Thread

if you want to apply for scholarships, they often ask for year 11 preliminary results; so to some extent, try to do good
