Hello,

I am in year 11 doing the preliminary course

It seems the Board of Studies decided to stuff the Business Studies syllabus into a blender.
Making trial papers difficult/useless.. maybe..

Yet I wonder if it is still "the easy subject" and scales like ****.

I wish someone had told me this stuff when I was on exchange.
I definitely would have picked economics. It sounds funner.

When I was a baby robot people had told me that Mathematics was not going to ever have multiple choice questions except general, they laughed at the suggestion. Now look what happens to our year group next year.

Maths now has MSC (at least it is the section which is easy and saves time for everyone since everyone gets them right)


I am in year 11 doing Legal, Business, and Economics.

The new Syllabus for business is actually a improvement and is a bit more practical. However it hasn't changed alot.


Scalling changes every year but it does follow trends so should be a low scalling (depends how everyone in NSW goes reallly)

When our teacher got news that the syllabus was going to change, he laughed at our class and said "You guys are the last year to do this harder syllabus, its easier next year". Assuming his right that means (Y). Economics is a hell a lot practical compared to business which is imo just syllabus memorisation. You will still be able to use trial papers etc. just beware of questions that might not be related.

Also I noticed you spelled business wrong in your signature :/ i just notice those things.
