Oh effy,

I was reading Blitz - and they said the only safe place where you can't be touched or talked to by these yellow and red shirts is:

the polling stations and their queues

:(

It's all a lie.

They're in on it too.

Believe no-one.

My friend was one of the members in Voice.

She called out to me and because she was my friend, I couldn't reject her, so I ended up voting.

*headdesk*

On the bright side, I have a perfect excuse to run the hell out of there if someone asked me to vote tomorrow.

A friend of mine said "I'll vote for the one that doesn't encourage International Students to come here - I don't want more of them".

Then I said, "But both of them are advocating international student concessions".

He's now exercising his right to not vote.

Likewise.

The current groups running are retarded for lack of a better word.
- $10 jugs of beer?
- concession bus and train tickets for foreign students?
- supporting gay marriage and equality?

I want to see a group run (and likely then win) who campaign to reduce class sizes by trying to reduce the number of foreign students.
Though I'd have to admit that international students do generate a tonne of revenue for the uni, which will keep it running.

Tbh do international students really mind you that much? coz I personally have no problem with them.

I was reading the brochure for the red one and it said:

"Made Arc membership free"

And I thought:

YOU PEOPLE ARE THE REASON THERE WAS A HUGE LINE FOR OKTOBERFEST TICKETS

i mean

last year, i calmly walked into the arc store and asked for a ticket. no line.

this year, yeah yeah let's make everyone arc members. SO LET'S SELL ALL THE TICKETS TO EVERYONE ON THE FIRST DAY

Speaking about ARC membership, the SAF we paid all went towards ARC membership. So they abolished ARC membership, which was $69 a year, and made us pay $265 a year for SAF, which was pretty much the payments made to ARC. far out =_=

The uni really does love our money, don't they? Though afterall, they are a business.

Speaking of university enrolments, the increase in enrolments was also due to the uncapping of Commonwealth Supported places for unis. International student nos have increased too, and uni wants to maximize profit, so I guess increase in class sizes was needed. But then again, the uni is so stingy with their money expenditure too. :/

In all fairness though, the introduction of SAF was the doing of the Gillard government, not universities. All universities would be stupid to the not charge it after it has been legislated in their favour.

The yellow females also seem to be hotter from what I observed. Plus, they are loosely aligned with the Liberals.
but the guy who spoke to my class said they are everything

labor, liberal, green, etc.

Also I actually haven't noticed the girls. hmm

I sided more towards the yellow team, coz they had better policies overall than the red one imo. But realistically neither of them would do much to the uni, so I was just like meh, whatever.
