No bouncers will totally destroy the game. Huge bats and small boundaries already help the batsmen as it is we dont need predictable full pitch bowling as another disadvantage for the bowler. I do feel bad for him but imagine say Mitchell Johnson not being able to bowl short pitched stuff like he did against Anderson. Unfortunate but getting rid of bouncers is a very big overreaction

Hughes should be ahead of Rogersm and Khawaja should be ahead of Maxwell, the selectors just dont trust young players that have a few bad tests. Both Hughes and Khawaja have good temperaments and good techniques.
