For calculating the area of that circle undunked. I put AREA = Area of full circle - Area of minor segment (or dunked area)
A of circle = pi x r^2
= 256pi
A minor segment = 1/2 x r^2 x (theta - sintheta)
= 128 (2.64-sin2.64)
= 276.347053....
therefore, A = 256pi - 276.347053
= 527.873014 (dont remember how many significant figures or decimals the question asked for)

If it was a minus wouldn't it prove it is a maximum, so you had to use the positive sign

16. a) Was it moving right or left?

And made so many silly mistakes as I'm realising. Give me a 70% Jesus Christ, and I'll become a practicing Catholic.
i wrote 'positive direction, continuing in initial direction'
because the question never said left or right initially

Personally I found it a lot harder than what I had been practicing with past papers from BOS.
