I still need help with this xx I got all nerdy there but please helpactually, can someone please explain the diagram?, I understand all of it up until S2, i understand that this is the orange line, but how does that make the circle S?

Very relevant for our exam, since they haven't done an integration question 16 since 2020 I believe. Maths does not really change that much syllabus wise, obvs there is stuff I skip but its maybe 2 or 3 questions
