i got 90/100 - i think luck was on my side
yeah, they're looking for the skills that you will need in law school and eventually as a lawyer. if you hand an essay into the court instead of concise and relevant submissions, you're getting grilled by the judge on your next court event. law school involves a lot of writing, yes, but you succeed by understanding the principles and applying them correctly to the case in front of you, finding the right arguments and counter-arguments. you'll learn pretty quickly to throw away almost everything you thought was correct in hsc writing tasks.Bruhhh I actually failed it's not even funny, like I knew I did badly but not THIS BAD So embarrassing
Honestly I think what they're looking for is very different to essay writing skills. They say they're assessing analytical ability, clarity/conciseness and such. English already assesses essay writing lol
ballpark estimate with no factual basis of anything above like 94-95i received 80/100 (83rd percentile), what ATAR would you guys estimate i'd need. also surreal that hsc results come out in 24 days...
if u get 98 its calmCHAT my best result was 50 LAT with a predicted atar of 98 ish, am I cooked?
50 score or percentile?CHAT my best result was 50 LAT with a predicted atar of 98 ish, am I cooked?

Hmm not sure, probably? Let me know how you go lol because I'm in a similar situationscore
for sure i'd say. from what i've seen atar is emphasised way more and the LAT only really affects entry by pushing those with (relatively) lower atars over the line if they did well in LATWait if I get higher than 98 can I get into UNSW with a LAT score of 65 (36 %ile)..?
High 90s?what would i need for 70 lat score
