good behaviour nahh...more discipline however (like jewellery, hair, make up, length of dresses/skirts, and when/where you can wear certain uniform)
Performance in hsc...kindaaaa, the more you pay the more i see the schools ranking go up (but that's not always the case)
My campus has a swimming pool (not olympic sized) but it's out of order...i think The Kings school has like horses and shit, even for me that's too much

so you're right, the memes are based on the truth but a bit exaggerated

the swimming pools definitely are real,,,, i have doubts on the high performance in hsc this year tbh because i feel liked my cohort (this year) has like. only a handful of properly serious academic weapons. and the rest of us may be cooked i fear!! but yeah anything about uniform code being strict is also definitely real lol they keep doing random sweeps of our year specifically,,,, not to mention our year being the test subjects for new rules (first we weren't allowed phones out for year 10 even though last year's year 10s were fine, and then this year they decide to implement 'supervised study periods')

I know some private schools who finished a week earlier and are starting next week

A couple of schools near me (some private some semi) are really strict with the ATAR- so much so they don't allow those who are struggling to sit the HSC ( go non atar ) so the school ranking can increase.

i think u probs are thinking too much about the future try to like stay in the present a bit more and think of something else because as humans we tend to do something called catastrophizing where we only think about the ways things can go wrong. This form of pessimism is a bit of a survival instinct which is aligned to the old saying that instructs to "hope for the best, plan for the worst." Basically we think this way because we want to know that we are safe and secure. We want insurance that even in the worst of it we can make it through and so we ponder with such thoughts. Then again despite thinking in such a way seems to be beneficial from a tactical point of view, as you said before you're stressed and it's either directly causative to or contributing to your lack of sleep (i'm not too judge tho e.g. my 3am message earlier today). So I just say try to think of something else other than HSC or marks or whatnot IF it is hurting you in some sense, maybe that'll work. This kinda thing is a very natural response and many people including myself suffer from it as well.

wow I thought it was just me- i am an over-thinker and i'm hoping that once school starts up again (i start on tuesday) i can get a proper full night- but all my life i've had random issues with my sleep so i've just gotten used to it i guess.

this is real because i always sleep worse in the holidays even though ive usually got no school work to be stressing about. like last christmas holidays i would literally go out for a walk at like 4 am and come back at 6 i was waking up so early...

I think my parents would die if i went for a walk at 4 am in my area- but that would honestly be amazing. I love walks lol but not as much as i love my non-existent sleep schedule lmao
