well like if u get 100% in 3 unit and then 0% in adv (ok this is extreme) then ur teacher should still be fine with it cause as long as ur doing well in 3 unit u clearly are capable of doing 4 unit no matter how trash u do in adv. But yeah that sucks

It's true that you need a decent mark in 2U to show that you've got the foundation for 4U (since all 4U students sorta have a 2U band 6 as assumed knowledge), but the entry requirements shouldn't be too high. If you're doing well in 3U it should tip the scales in your favour. Typically, as long as you show that you're motivated and interested in maths, you'd get into the course. It does depend on the school though, so you should probs check with your teacher. Some schools decide based on your rankings, while others just have a baseline mark

nuh uh she is the best no matter what. I was afraid of her feedback and that's why i was crashing out. But now i know that she actually wants to help me, and actually cares when i had an ABSOLUTE UNIT OF A MENTAL BREAKDOWN today in eng so NO ONE can make me hate her <3
