thing is mum told me to do std and kept sorta co-erced me into doing std. I WISH I DID ADVANCED THOOOOOO IT SEEMS LIKE MY VIBEEEEEE

the only downside about doing adv is that if ur at the bottom it can be kinda demotivating and u feel dumb in ur class otherwise adv is better

I spent 40 mins trying to graph 5 trig graphs the long way and I still got it somewhat wrong. I give up and screw my teacher cause table of values would take like 5 mins to do 5 graphs. No matter how hard I try table of values is still faster and idc that it's a dumber way to do it cause whatever gets the job done I'm gonna do it. Like I don't have the time for this and I don't understand why my teacher wants us to do it the long way

this reminds me but I think last summer hols I borrowed a bunch of year 11 Atar notes books and then I just scanned all the pages lol. But I didn't even use them lol

thing is i am (was?) ranking well for standard. 6th in the prelims and 25th overall

and this wasn't out of like 60 people, this was out of over 100 or more

wow that's actually really good. But also if adv might be a different story cause the adv cohort is def a whole lot stronger and the whole ranking thing would def change tho. Like I was ranked 24/67 for prelims with a 53/80 so u could kinda gauge ur rank if u were in adv based on that. Also our exam was 3/4 the same as std

So sometimes I wonder if I could have done advanced and done well if I had learnt techniques advanced has and also with a teacher who is actually focused on helping the kids. Plus, no offence to the standard kids but my grade was BUNS (66.25%) and I still ranked 6th soooooo... maybe, who knows.

lol we got the same mark yeah then def u could have cause the adv teachers are soooo much better. And the average in adv was like 61% so u would have been above average in adv

when i was gonna move private they told us to buy our own textbooks
