idk for IDT we had to do some shit related to the course honestly ours was a bit boring
the hospo kids got to cook and stuff and the ent kids got to like set up idk amps and music things u'd know more than me (obv)

we mostly did documentation
but the idea is (at least for VETIS) that school age students compete to go to nationals this year its in brisbane lol (and also im going but thats besides the point)

idk,,,,,,, it's mostly just a matter of not having my bed too close to the corner (not pressed up against it), as well as steaming/vacuuming the bed every time we change the sheets, but i had to stay at my grandparents house in indo and the bedroom i was in had the little fuckers hiding out SOMEWHERE,,,,,,, so no matter how tightly i wrapped my fucking blankets the stupid little shits managed to bite at my leg and disappear off into the ether,,,,,, and it was a whole month of getting the most irritatingly itchy bumps that would last at least a week almost every second or third day and it pisses me the fuck off

still!!!!!! very cool that it exists,,,,,,,,,,, unfortunately not *that* good at ent. so i doubt i'd do well there (+ i've only got a years' worth experience in drama and very little in actual stagin & management activities)

answering this semi-seriously (in my opinion) it's bc there are no time markers/time limits & people/teachers breathing down your neck + sometimes stuff is boring,,,,,, like. no enforced schedule (even if you do have a schedule at home), no 'time limit' and no one tells you exactly what to do at home.

at school, every subject, break and place is planned out and enforced by the teachers, meaning you get constant reminders of what time it is, how much time has passed & a set amount of time you have to do something, so its harder to lose track of time, especially when the material's boring and/or the teacher is trying to make sure you aren't distracted.

at home, you've got a lot more freedom and are probably more relaxed, nobody's there telling you exactly what to do and to stop you from being distracted, no constantly enforced schedule (both by teachers and other students following it), and no time limit you have to do something other than your own brain deciding when it should, so it's really easy to forget to check the time, get distracted and lose track of time, especially when you aren't under a good amount of pressure and no one's gonna embarrass/scold you in front of other people your age if you do get distracted and lose time.
