wow they got mad when you asked more than 3 questions in a lesson that's disheartening, the teacher really shouldn't rlly behave like that. Even if its interrupting the class, they could always get back to the students during the breaks or like end of the lesson to explain something. they shouldn't discourage students, especially as a young age when curiosity and active exploration is human nature.

(I know that some primary teachers work hard thou and might not have the time even if they try their best)

I wish all teachers were like my piano teacher. She's really nice but she also gives constructive criticism and tells me exactly how to improve without yelling at u or saying ur shit. I feel like this week has brought up a lot of my past trauma but I’m ok

Omg if I were to continue SAC (prob won’t) I would do my pip on the effect of teachers on the development of children or smth. That would be so interesting. I was originally thinking about doing something about media but teachers would be interesting

they usually tell us at the end of the lesson when im packed up and then im either rushing to my next class and forgetting or i go to recess/lunch and i forget

I dunno about you but i've known my piano teacher for 12 years and there's just something about people who teach piano. Almost like the instrument reflects their personality. Based on what you're piano teacher is like sounds pretty similar to mine - Patient, VERY PATIENT (spesh with me and my love hate relationship with music), caring and respectful no matter what. I could sit for 20 minutes yapping to her about a shit teacher and she'll just listen without interrupting. And only when i'm done we'll continue. I hope everyone's teachers could be like piano teachers. Unfortunately my piano journey is coming to an end in a few months so i hope i find a piece of her in another mentor and the same for you Study2.

aww ur piano teacher is so sweet. I quit piano a few months ago so I don't see her anymore but yeah they are the best. But I had a friend from primary that had a kinda strict piano teacher and I think even my mum had one too so sadly not all piano teachers are nice but I'm glad we both had good experiences with our piano teachers

Guys is it just me- but why do i feel like my friends are gatekeeping information and notes- Is it seriously going to be every man for themselves? is that how it normally is?
Not that i rely on my friends but normally we send each other notes and practice papers but now i feel like some of them are very secretive when it comes to study...
Am i being paranoid?

No but fr like dude if I ask someone for notes they won't share most times like my guy calm down. tbh if someone asked me, I would give them notes if I had them.

But it also depends cause if I know my friends haven’t been doing any work and have no notes then I probably wouldn’t share cause I don’t want them to feel like they can just take notes from me whenever they want to and do nothing. But if they just need extra help like I would still give them resources

yeah i get what you mean, if its some rando, then no. but say if I know they need to catch up and they are willing to make the effort, 100% will lend them notes.

Maybe try lending a few of ur resources first and then maybe they’ll open up and start sharing some of their stuff
