wheres everyone up to in standard math? were doing chapter 10 which is the 4th chapter we've done so far. the thing is i changed classes (they merged std 2 into one big class) and my new teacher is... not the sharpest knife in the drawer so to speak

in my school its after hsc (in late november-ish)

and they said it's cause they used to do it the week of grad and then no one would study so that's why they changed it. But still, like honestly does doing it in term 2 really make that much of a difference

How..... U have a formal as a "reward" for grinding the whole year. Term 2 is such an awkward time, its prime to lock in and spam hsc/trials papers instead of distractions like that.

Formals are usually hosted in the space between the end of the HSC and schoolies

The biology teachers are cooking us this is worse than I thought. I'm like 1/6 done and my wordcount is around 600 words not including the questions. This is a 45-minute test Theres like a whole page of questions under whats shown I'm going to die

guys how should i be preparing for math standard? i want to b6, and i honestly am not struggling with content much, if at all. should i just spam questions?

i havent finished all of the maths content though, and i definitely want to go back and revise some prelim content since that is assessed in the hsc. i reckon if i lock in i could smash it all out by april, which would give me a good 6 months to do as much practice as humanly possible.

Also I just learnt today that if I do design at unsw I'm gonna be at the Paddington campus for most of the time so I'm basically segregated from the rest of the people in the main campus and idk how that will work for social life stuff. Hopefully I do a double degree so I can have some connection with people in the main campus
