Talking about the movie 'Bright Star', it's a 2 hours movie with a
very slow progression in plot. (but that's the beauty of it + ig good cinematic shots)
I just wanted to mention this bc I thought it was funny but I tried watching it two weeks ago and I lost focus within the first 30 minutes :[
My brain just gave up and was like 'nope you can't do this. U need a break'. Could've been the movie's slow start or just how annoying ClickView had lagged captions for the audio, but I peacefully slept for like 3 hrs bc of it XD
I dreaded having to watch the rest of the movie, it literally drained me mentally with how uninteresting the events of the movie occurred.
I ended watching the rest of the movie while eating some random plant-based ice cream I found in my freezer (never tried plant-based ice cream b4 but it was actually Really Good!

), as a way of trying to make myself enjoy watching the movie a bit more. Although the movie was intended to create an emotional connection with the audience, I felt detached. The story felt mundane.
It wasn't a 'bad' movie I would say but one that definitely didn't suit what I usually watch.
