My favourite scenes are the ones where they rehearse Maggie confronting the husband. So heartachingly beautiful. *sigh*

*faints*. me too. and somehow at the same time the scene seemed so funny. the whole of in the mood for love is so sensual and beautiful, and his use of camera is so exquisitely perfect for each scene. [though i wasn't a huge fan of the jagged transitions towards the beginning, until i got to the end with the memory bit].

am headed to watch 2046 next wk... looking forward to it

I just love the sequences where WKW has completely slowed the image down (with a really high framerate), and has the music over the top. Absolutely outstanding. The final scene, where the camera pans around as Leung tells his secrets into the hole in the wall, and we have the epic music coming from above. oh!

Entire movie is utterly brilliant. Oh, need to go watch it now! Wait! it's 3AM. Dammit!
