It depnds on how much u like the person... because sometimes someone else will come along thats more compatible with u and u wondered why u ever spent so much wasted energy on the first person. Don't get stuck on 1person 2 much that it limits ur chances of meeting and finding someone else - especially we it wont work in the first place.

argh im in a situation like that...dammit i dont wanna like him coz a) i know he only thinks of me as a friend b)i know 2 other ppl who like him as well and c) even if we were to get together it probably wouldnt work out too well. grrrr. so in answer to the question i reckon no, u cant forget easily, it just doesnt work like that. especially when the guy in question is around u constantly.
