Anyone else heard of this??

What I find unfair is that my maths teacher has said she's gonna transfer marks for our last 2 prelim chapters into our HSC marks.

Not cool, not cool! Coz I'm just doing the bare minimum work to get year 11 genny maths over and done with so I can start the year 12 course!

It's just crap, lolz. anyone else agree??

30% of the preliminary content will be tested in the HSC

yes that is unfair because preliminary marks should not count.

a) Your teacher is unaware of how the HSC system works
b) you misunderstood her

If it is a) then talk to your principal. if b) then calm down, you need to do more work in General Maths. It scales bad, you need to get a good mark in it to make up for the scaling

Yeah, I know it scales bad...kinda sucks. I'm only doing it coz I need to get like at least a band 4 to get into primary teaching apparently...grr!

But it still is unfair, like you said. :(

Trust me, I'm working my butt off year 12...just I'm so over year 11...it's only dragged on for so long coz of the way our timetable currently is. So I'm gonna be so glad to say good riddance to it! :)
