Can anyone make suggestions about which courses are relatively better ?

btw, are there different disciplines under finance major (banking, insurance etc)?
if so what are the corresponding subjects ?

thanks a lot

I haven't done third year Finance, but my brother did a Finance major before graduating. He told me that Applied Corporate Finance is pretty useful if you want to go into corporate advisory or investment banking. If you want easy marks and an interesting banking subject, then you might want to do Bank Financial Management.

Other than that, the School of Banking and Finance has some useful information on what courses comply with what disciplines. There are different ones for funds management, financial management, risk management/insurance, etc. The website is:

Hope that helps!

Also, Venture Cap. and International Banking are supposed to be easy.
