I mean somewhat, but like if ur actually struggling to understand HOW he does problems then U should probs try like self-learn the topic. The way I saw tutoring was like Id generally self-learn all the topics and then use mr mai to supplement my understanding

i mean lwk if u have/can self learn it, u didn't need tutoring in the first place

obviously if u already know the content then ur not gna struggle in class

I dropped all tutoring in y12 (rn) cuz i realised i didn't need any external help anymore
so I self study

i definitely see the appeal of going tutoring to help you learn ahead so u dont struggle in class
but bro ur doing half the tutor's job by urself
ur learning ahead so u dont struggle in tutoring so u dont struggle at school

nah jk i dont do tutoring yet but i do agree that u should proceed with priv tutoring, not with a company

ur very smart, but there is someone from my school who actually got a 97 in ext 1 and 98 in advanced... he only got 92 in ext 2 at the end. (all without tutoring)

he did the 2024 paper for 3u and 4u and 2023 paper for 2u.
