I would ring up the UAC office, and ask them. Their number is in the UAC guide.

I think you can still apply with a $99 late charge, but I don't know if you'd be able to that if you've already applied, and only wanting to change your preferencs. You can change prefs between rounds, but I think it's pretty unlikely to get a place that way if the course is in high demand.

Well, if you can't get in on the phone, maybe it's cos theres a whole bunch of people ringing up with the same dilemma. So at least you're not alone!

She may not need to change the preferences due to her UAI. The whole point of preferences in the first place is that they cater for a lower/higher than expected uai - u just put down wat u want to do, and then supply&demand and uac do all the work. Check she's not fussing over nothing.

e.g What she thinks she'll get into need not be first...if she missed the first 3 cut-offs for sure, she should get into the fourth preference.
