if badly written, nsb harder than hsc. otherwise, nsb easier than hsc^^^^
I would say HSC would be harder, as it is high stakes. Also they tend to have more obscure questions.^^^^
Yeah I do feel like selective school papers are only hard for the sake of being hard, and in that pursuit, they can be extremely niche.HSC is definitely the best written exam, I find James Ruse relies on some OOS questions in order to artificially inflate its difficulty, NSB I find strikes a better balance between difficulty and syllabus though it does enrage me sometimes - though selective schools have higher “raw” difficulty, HSC is more creative and satisfactory imo
maybe true for other subjects, just not 4uI thought people say that the trials are harder than the hsc
I reckon nsb and ruse are the other way aroundHSC is definitely the best written exam, I find James Ruse relies on some OOS questions in order to artificially inflate its difficulty, NSB I find strikes a better balance between difficulty and syllabus though it does enrage me sometimes - though selective schools have higher “raw” difficulty, HSC is more creative and satisfactory imo
They hurt my soul in the best way possibleHave you done the BoS Trials?
even for physics the hsc is harder than trials.maybe true for other subjects, just not 4u![]()
the lazy bastards at Normanhurst Boys High School didn't even modify the question. The most they did was convert the font to latex. How full of shit do you have to be to do thatTrials moreso recycle rather than introduce new concepts. HSC is basically the 'source' for teachers to write their questions off. Afterwards its a game of renaming a few things, cutting out a few subparts and change the font.
