First asessment 87% 8th/44
Half Yearlies 74% 8-9th/40

Maintaining solid rankings. Top mark for our Half Yearlies was 90% followed by 89%, 87%, 81%, 76% then me ^_^!

All in all it was an easy exam, I just couldn't do the Conics questions in the heat of the moment.

Anyways, back to reviewing my exam

1st Assessment - 81% (4/16)
Half Yearly - 88% (3/13)

Im really happy with those, but at the same time really pissed off with my stupid mistakes >_>

1st assessment 98% (1st) and person who came 2nd was in the 70s
Half yearly 91% (1st) and person who came 2nd was also in the 70s.


what does these marks say about out exam ???

we have only 4 students in our class. and the lowest mark was in the high 50s


Im so far in the 90+ with my 4unit exam and same goes for 3unit. Mistakes are mainly due to ( too ) much silly mistakes...

EDIT: How did you got in 3 Unit? I got 100%. I am over the moon!!!

Hey enjoy it while it last.. I used to get 100% but not any more, I was aimin for 100% for my 1st 4unit assessment task and look what I got 98% =(..


The most stupid mistake i ever did, i just re-wrote the question as the answer .. I have no hope at gettin 100% now, its 90+ from now on =)

Guys, the fact that we are motivated and studious enough to attempt extension 2 maths is testament to our diligence. we will all achieve well, do not fret.

Sorry for a bit of a tangent - but with the talk of ranking I thought I'd ask...
I'm thinking about doing Ext2 next year, and if I do it will be a three person class. The two boys are very good in maths and I would expect to come in 2nd or 3rd in most tasks. Ranking wise, is this bad? To some 3rd in a class of three, even if I do well? I have very little knowledge of how ranking works out, and I'd like to know.

Depends how "good" those other two are. Don't worry too much about how these scaling and shit work. Just make sure you have high ranks then you will see the advantages esp during the hsc
