Batteries may not be the only reason for it to stop working. I don't know about you, but there's no way i'm gonna risk a whole year of my life for no reason.

hmm...true that, but its unlikely, and also my calculator is one of those two powered calculators, which can work on solar power if the batteries go flat.:)

Aside from a dead battery, or the after-effects of flinging your calculator across the room in despair, I can't think why a calculator would suddenly stop working in the middle of an exam.

both my calculators better not break down in the hsc...i swear ill be pissing myself if that happened.
