4u trial results, what did everyone get? (1 Viewer)

67.5% raw
91% scaled
i thought it was ok considereing i only got up to q7...
so does abyone ever finish the paper???
i think its impossible!!!
btw y arnt we allowed to know our overall mark???

I really don't understand the school scaling marks thing. I don't see a need for it. A raw school assesment mark will probably be close to the raw HSC mark.

Oh, and it doens't seem fair. Say if two schools both do the same trial paper, and a person from each school gets the same mark. If one school scales the mark up, it appears that person did better. What if both people applied for scholarships?

Or if both schools scale the marks, but scale them differently?

46% raw - although, when I went back and did it I got a lot higher - around the 75 - 80% range. I just froze in the exam - hope that doesn't happen in the HSC!

edit: that was the CSSA trial, btw

the 4 unit paper is made so its impossible to finish, no one gets 100
its more to do with how well u manage your time to get the good marks

oh and i never thought 62% only ranks up to 88%? I thought it'd be more?
