would a raw mark of 75-80% tommorw be good enough for a band e4, i know it depends on the difficulty and stuff....but im hoping to get about 65-70 / 84

haha its a bit like that aye... I'm so not prepared for this exam tomorrow, still in shock from 4 unit yesterday... but 4 unit helps a lot in 3 unit as a lot of the topics overlap... i HATE binomial probablity tho!! stupidest concept ever

i didnt expect so many proofs.. there wasnt any basic conics, just that really hard one, no polynomials where you had to find the roots, no aphs to draw of ellipses or hyperbolae... just a really tough test... i should do well tomorrow, but i need to revise binomials, i didn't give 3 unit much thought this year, silly me

ummm... yeah a 90 raw is getting up there, i'd expect a 48/49... remember there are a lot of other ppl doing the 3 unit course at the other end of the scale, who shouldnt be doing it, so a 90 raw will look very good compared to the state average

its interesting that about 30% of 3u ppl get a band e4...and theres around 10000 studnets doin 3u with about 3000 of them 4u ppl....so the 4u ppl should theoretically get all the band e4s

90% isn't an absolute demolition...

i mean if you solve q1-4, thats already 48/84..

actually better correct myself. it was actually more close to 70%.
In 2001 a 45-54/84 was aligned to around 45/50.
In 2003 a 18-20/84 was a pass and aligned to 25/50

bascially if ur doing well in questions 1-5 then u pretty much are in the late e3 to early e4 range
