It depends on the course I guess, but I've come short of 80% attendance for at least one course per sem and haven't faced any consequences.

Apparently they only take the roll in some not all classes (cor certain courses). So depends which class you miss Also if you are close to 80%, they tend to let you go

I think that's true only for some subs (like MATH subjects), but not for others like FINS1613 where attendance and tutorial participation is actually part of your final mark...So yeah, I guess really depends on what subjects you skip

How strict is the 40% for each assessment items in economics sub econ2102 requirement. Does it depend on lecturer in charge or faculty?
