Hey guys,

My name is Hark and I specialise in tutoring Biology and Chemistry

I finished my HSC in 2008 from Penrith Selective High School and achieved:

• Marks of 92 in both Biology and Chemistry
• UAI of 99.05
• Premier’s Award for All-round Excellence in the HSC (10 units > 90)

Currently I am in my 4^th year of Medicine at UWS which has allowed me to expand on my knowledge of biology and chemistry

Also I have over three years of tutoring experience (> 1500 hrs) and know the ins and outs of both one-on-one and group tutoring

What resources do I have to offer?

Very comprehensive set of notes on both Biology and Chemistry based on the Board of Studies HSC syllabus covering every single syllabus dot point

Huge selection of practice exam questions, past exam papers and worksheets

Location and Rates

The rate depends on where the lesson is held:

Student’s house or Local library - $30/hour + $10 travel expenses

I am happy to travel to student’s who live around regions such as Penrith, Blacktown, Parramatta, Strathfield, Hill’s Shire, Liverpool

My house - $30/hour

If you are able to make it to my place (in Rooty Hill, near Blacktown)

Group tutoring - $20/hour

If a group of friends want to have the lessons together it can be beneficial by encouraging friendly group discussion

Med is going well, 3rd year was pretty awesome and I had placements at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospital, esp. enjoyed the surgical rotations as there is very little surgery learnt in the pre-clinial years

4th year we have three main rotations - mental health, obstetrics/gynaecology and paediatrics so lets see how it goes. Then we have 5wks elective at the end of the year which should be a valuable experience, thinking of going to punjab at this stage.

Med is treating me well, it just sucks during exam time! Starting third year this year and have clinicals 3 days a week with 2 days a week teaching at uni!

You may as well tick off the years man, 2 more and your an intern!
