The sum of the scaled marks from your best two units of english and your best other eight units.

Total of the scaled marks, out of 500. (50 marks * 10 units)

isn't that hard... considering an average of 87-88 after scaling would get you there .

my sister last year got an aggregate of around 420 and ended up with 95.65.

is it coz of subject scaling? she did standard eng (got band 5 tho) and legal studies which prolly dragged her down but also did phy and 4unit maths to pull it back up

the aggregate is the sum of all your scaled marks, for your 10 best units, so yes its coz of subject scaling

aggregate for 420 and only 95..?
doesnt seem right
actually it would be, coz that'd mean, like getting 84 for 5 2U subjects

I suspect she just added up her HSC marks. She would not have known what her UAC marks were. For most subjects, UAC marks are lower than HSC marks. Her aggregate would have been more like 410 I think. :)
