We are currently studying A Doll's House in Extension 1 and my teacher recommended it as related material for the powerplay elective in advanced. I asked her if we were allowed to do this since it is a book set for study in extension and she said we could, quite confidently in fact, and she highly recommended it so that not as many texts need to be remembered across the three units that we need to study for for the HSC. What do you guys think?

hey...

there seems to be a question over this...i asked my teacher if i could use "emma" for wide reading in ext one, which is on the syllabus for adv. and she didnt recommend it. I think maybe its because if a schools studied the text closely in class it would be hard to say anything "original" about it that hasnt been said by a wide no of students. But i dunno really... in my opinion i wouldnt, but i suppose there wouldnt be anything really wrong with it, uthawise your teacher wouldnt have been so keen???

byes for now... good luck
