magdalena

the nurse who lovedme
the outsider
a stranger

arg im just gonna end up writing them all
That's cuz they're all great.
Shocked that you didn't choose The Noose or Judith though. Those songs were GREAT live. Heh, every time I think about their concert earlier this year I get this warm and fuzzy feeling inside. And the warm and fuzzy feeling grows when I look at my wall and see my signed Thirteeth Step booklet.

And I think of myself as a diehard A Perfect Circle fan as well but honestly I didn't like the cover of "Imagine". I felt that they had taken the punch out of the song and it just sounds so plain and dull.

Either way, I can't wait for this album to come out in Australia. And there's a DVD as well? Cool.

Better start saving up.

Yeh well.. im prolly the only one here that actually has the new APC album emotive. It is definately not as good as i hoped it to be.. and yes. im an outrageous APC fan, all cds and bootlegs and seen heaps of live shows. Emotive is very inconsistant and not too listenable, Imagine (in my opinion) is the only real song.. and mainly listenable song. Buut i must admit, some of the others are quite a good listen, such as 'freedom of choice'.. which is a solid rock song, true apc style. but what can i say, it doesnt hint apc too much.. it very out there, even for apc.. its crazy, but its basically for the main hardcore apc fan. If u like imagine, it is not where near the absolute quality of the rest of the cd. and as for the interpretation or 'remix' of pet, 'counting bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drum'.. hmmn, weird, and not my style, actually its complete crud for apc even. i just need another apc cd with their orginal writing ability, as we know now, there interpretations of other songs arent the best, although it is unique.. any questions bout the cd, ask me.
whats everyones fav apc song?
You assume too much with your first point. I have listened to the whole albuma few times now.
Otherwise i dont really mind it, the problem with Mer De Noms was finding a way to top what was in essence a great album.

... Am I the only person that thought Thirteeth Step was better than Mer Der Noms?

APC can go and get fucked. Bring back Tool! I dont even care if Maynard does vocals or not, i think an instrumental album would be just as good. Oh yeah, emotive sucks the collective cock of all 3 Tool members. Stupid Maynard. Tssk.
