Hi,
I'm tossing up between Macquarie and Newcastle uni (Newcastle is first but Macquaire constantly tempts me). I'm looking specifically at the Bachelor of Arts degrees at both Uni's and Macquarie's one confuses me a bit.
I know at Newcastle you can have two majors and then a certain number of electives; or one major, two minors and some electives.
How does it work at Macquarie? Is it just one major? Do you have minors? What about electives?
I'm interested in writing and philosophy so being able to do both would be fantastic which pushes me towards newcastle but Macquarie's writing courses look great for me (I want to be a writer/publisher. Philosophy has always interested me and I figure it won't hurt my writing).
So if someone can explain how the Macquarie majors work or point me in the right direction that would help (I've tried asking the uni itself, and all they said was to look at the Bachelor of Arts page which didn't help me)
Thanks
