 After the hsc students tend to move into uni straight away but does anyone

know about deferring uni coz i think quite alot of ppl dunno what they wanna

do in terms of career and course so defering to travel or even work is an open

option. Who has defered that can speak from experience???

Wrong forum honey.

I deferred. Or dropped out. I can't remember. I'm doing uni next year, and I bet I'll WIN the class.

P.P.S. fucking take a year off and go to Sweden - I hear it has hot chicks.

i deferred uni for a year. partly because i was barely 17 and didn't want to move to uni and not be able to go out with everyone else, secondly because i couldn't be assed to study after 13 years of school, and thirdly because my parents told me not to because they thought it was ridiculous to do 15 years of straight schooling.

so for a year i worked casually, sat on my ass, slept, went to the beach .. it was fucking awesome. all my friends left 'cause i went to school in a shitty small town and everyone moved away for work/uni/sanity so i didn't have much to do, but it was still great.

a gap year between school and uni is appreciated more than one between uni and work.

Heeeey man.

Um, like, I dunno.

I'm going to UNSW, UQ or UoW next year to do computer science and education.

Sometimes life doesn't turn out like you plan, hey?

It's about saying yes to yourself

and saying yes to your future.

Say yes.

Have some opportunities for yourself.

I'm sure you'd love to be free, maybe go out and meet some Latin guy that can dance, grind up on you, make you feel dangerous but also safe.

have some Latin guy sweating all over you, talking to you in languages you don't understand, - needing you, wanting you, taking you

I deferred. Worked, saved, it was good. And it really makes no difference when you get back to uni, unless you were planning on sitting in lectures with the same friends you had all though high school.
