And one last thing what are ppl doing/done for thier ISP's

do a search...
see
http://community.boredofstudies.org/38/studies-religion/94895/isp-topics.html
and
http://community.boredofstudies.org/38/studies-religion/93434/isp-dates.html

they are all on the main SOR page if you scroll down...........

as for the marks, it school based as it depends on the criteria that they use. Its still worth 20%/10% at the end of the day though

I reckon next years SOR next year will so easy compared to our syllabus.
Considering they don't have to do Foundation Study 1 or 2.

Also if they do SOR 1 they have to do 2 Depth Studies. Plus if i were a year yonger, at my school i would have done Buddhism and Hinduism. Both of which a have a good knowledge on.

I would actually say that whilst its more logically organised, its more difficult due to the breadth and depth (with regards to content) that Yr 12's next year will be expected to go to

I did the interaction between faith and logic in modern Christian faith. I got 50/50.

I completed my ISP two nights before it was due, cause I had a chem assessment due on the same day.
Doesn't take that long cause my essay was only like 1000-1500 words, and they make it seem like that's really difficult.

Well after discovering that the ISP i originally did, didn't count because the school screwed up the assessment sheet, I ended up doing, CHarles Darwin's "Origin of the species". Got 20/20, Was exactly 1750 words with 4000 footnotes. Lol the teacher said we could have as many as we liked and that the more there was the merrier (depending on the quality and logical link to the topic of course). So don't forget kiddies, footnotes are your friend :D. I'm sure Snapper will have some warning against my advice but what would he know, he only teaches the subject :p

i did mine on the symbolic and traditional importance of Coptic Orthodox Architecture. it was about 1500 words and i got 20/20 for it.

our teacher also went through and did progress checks of our diary so i think 5 marks out of the 20 was based on that. it didn't take too long to complete, its just collecting and collating data which can be a pain, make sure you use a variety of sources. and yes, as Mooseman said - footnotes :D I also had plenty... hahaha

hey, lol. This is a bit late... but i got 18.5 out of 20 which equates to 92.5%

I did religion and literature

my focus was: How does the da vinci code depict christian values comparatively speaking to those in the passion of the christ?
