as I always heard from tutors and lecturer, a credit is pretty much the average in a course.
I heard they will scale students' marks so that the average is around 65
does that mean a 65 wam is like average? 50% percentile?
what about distinction?

I heard on average, 70 WAM is the median for courses.

Can't find that again, somewhere on the UNSW website - they had a graph.
