hey does anyone know what the format of this test is?

im not sure whether to focus on the theory side of things or the math side of things?

Hey, I did this subject last semester, and the test was basically 5 questions (12 marks each), the first question was all theory and then the rest was pretty much the mathematical working out questions (with 1 or 2 small theory questions chucked in).

Yentas response was pretty helpful...Does anyone know a good way to study for this? I.e. practice/ reread
Even better... does anyone know whats in the exam : D?

i'm in that lecturer's tut and he said the test will be more emphasize on calculation

it was a pretty tough exam

someone told me the failure rate for this subject is 40%....does anyone know if thats true?

I found it pretty easy overall.

In regards to the failure rate, yeah that sounds right. I was told this unit has the highest failure rate for any unit? Which kicks ass for scaling.

At the end of the test lots of people were comparing.
