My exam last semester was piss easy..and i was considering dropping out of the course and doing it again next semeser cause i was finding it soo hard during the semester..so probs wont be too hard.. know ur variances as they normally ask a few marks on that. Basically just go over the last lec.

Study variance and budgeted costing. Also study process and job costing. That's about all I can remember from the exam, sorry.

Luke.

Thanks guys. Your comments are much appreciated. I've just spent hours going over the T-accounts and the schedule for COGS (still rusty on them) Is that at all important?

What about CPV and ABC? were there any questions on those?

...Somebody kill me now! lol

Good luck dude.. I'm in the same boat, tomorrow morning. though I found the tute questions fairly easy (but took for frigging EVER, so maybe that's a tradeoff).

I think it should be...

Total Variable Overhead Cost/Level of Production
Or...
Total Variable Overhead Cost/Overhead Cost Driver

Fixed costs won't matter;— they don't *vary* with the level of production, so they aren't a *variable* cost, and thus shouldn't be included in the variable overhead rate.

Best of luck for the exam, Anne.

Luke.
