yeh im not gonna submit it 2nyt but mainly cuz i've got nuthin 2 submit

so i fixed up the date prob, can u guys give me some help with the adjustments ?

r they both deposits ? i dont understand the capital being a deposit but for the petty cash, the q/books help says to replenish the account with a chq deposit. would this be ryt ??

You aren't replenishing petty cash, you are increasing the total amount of petty cash. Thus you should credit bank and debit petty cash for $50.

For the investment one, you have to credit Owner's Capital: Capital Contributions for $XXXXXXXX, and debit bank unless I am wrong

but the bank account wont have enough funds.....so it'll be negative ?

You have to debit the bank account to increase it, because the guy is investing money into your business.

ok at this point, i apparently have no adjustments showing in my adjusted t/b even though i did the adjustments

Mine worked out fine... Did you make sure to tick the "adjusting entry" checkbox when doing the general journal entries? Otherwise I can't think of anything.

do u know how 2 retrieve n update the file after its submitted ?

Yes you can edit the file once you have submitted it, just go to assessment, assignments and submission, and it should say you can download it again and resubmit it, but mine says I can't because my tutorial is today.

Edit: I think it says "late" for everyone, but I read on the disscussion board that they are going to fix it so you can edit/submit until the day of your tutorial

yeh i wasnt going to submit anything but i saw the LATE in red letters so i just put in my file without the adjustments or nething

n now that i've done them i gotta resubmit....my tutes on thurs so i got a bit of time


also it says to print' the journal' thats just all journal entries yeh ?

My tutes on Friday and I can't resubmit anything - it says I can't.

But yeah, it was indicated by Yvette that we were able to resubmit, as well as submit on the tutorial day, but make sure its submitted before the tute.

OMG it's so boring, I'm on page 6 of 25 and I keep forgetting what ERP means

Edit: there's a report type called "Journal", use the report finder to find it.. I hope they don't look at it too closely, I probably made some useless journal entries
