ACCG329 Mid-Semester Exam (1 Viewer)

Alright, how's everybody preparing for it? And does anyone who's already done it have any advice, tips or a copy of a past exam?

Bump! I am so totally lost on what and how we're meant to study for this exam. I'm just redoing the tutorials and doing lot's of reading, but I have no idea how the exam will ask us to apply our knowledge.

Well I'm just starting to study today so I can't help much...
But Egon put up a past paper in WebCT. Go and check it out, he said it'd be something like that.

How'd everyone go?

I got 57%... which I thought was pretty bad. But I asked Egon what the average was and he said it'd be "mid to low 40s", so that made me feel better. Still, I should've studied more, I only did about two days of serious study.... oh well.

Marks in my class ranged from 9% to 73%.

I've heard from a past student (at work) that this subject is overly difficult purely because of your lecturer. This person found ACCG352 easier than 329, purely because of the way Egon does everything.

You did well to get that mark Luke, congrats

Thanks, man. Yeah, Egon can be a bit over the place at times. I haven't been going to lectures, but he's my tutor. Anyway, I'll just stick to reading and revising the textbook, then wait to be scaled up in the final exam. Hehehe.

PS: Has anyone else noticed that Egon always wears muscle shirts? What's with that?
