I want to do a double major in accounting. According to the handbook I need to do 48cp made up of 6 senior units.
The e+b site lists 5 compulsory units:
ACCT1001 Accounting IA
ACCT1002 Accounting IB
ACCT2001 Financial Accounting A
ACCT2002 Management Accounting A
ECMT1010 Business and Economic Statistics A
And four elective units:
ACCT3001 Financial Accounting B
ACCT3002 Management Accounting B
ACCT3003 Financial Statement Analysis
ACCT3004 Auditing
However, in order to gain CPA/CA accreditation I also need to FINC2001 and CLAW2001. My question is, do FINC2001 and CLAW2001 count toward the six senior units I need to complete for the double major? Or do I need to do another two elective units as well?
Edit: Another thing I don't get, here: http://www.econ.usyd.edu.au/major/3 for a finance major, three of the compulsory units are senior units, but it also states that you need to select two senior electives. Why is this necessary when you only need 4 senior units for the major?
