guys, marks aren't as random as you might think. Although marking is ultimately subjective, there is a basis for quality. For example:
Good essays tend to have a structure with much more flow, the points link together coherently rather than a blocky STEEL approach. The language is sophisticated, and the technical analysis is not overbearing, but sufficient and related to deepr conceptual analysis.
Good creative pieces are in short- imaginative and original. The number of people who think they are original when they right some depressing shit with suicide is astounding, don't do this. Try to be truly original and have a story that explores the stimulus directly, not a prepared one with a vague brush of it.
