I'm arguing with my teacher over the definition of the term "Active participation in the war effort" - I took this term to mean either actually fighting in the war or working in factories/ volunteering back on the homefront. My teacher says it is just anything that contributes to the war, such as following ration rules. This cost me a mark in my half-yearly and subsequently have lost my 1st place ranking so that is why I am arguing about it. Does anyone have a proper definition for the term? and do you think it is worth pursuing higher? (as in approaching my head teacher).
