To those who done this before, what was the final exam like, is it similar in style to the quizzes but more in depth and longer?

Does doing the homework help much? (I thought our first quiz was based on broverman rather than the homework questions).

And how was the scaling?

The exam is hard and long andlike the quizes. Its based on lecture notes and examples done in the lectures. Doing homework cant hurt.

But can we make that assumption this year? We have a somewhat strange lecturer- Randell Heyman, and Michael Sherris is the course convenor for the subject, so it is up to him to set the difficulty for the quizzes and exams.

Haha, I wish he lectured us in ACTL2001 as well, as he does a decent job in ACTL2002, albeit the hard concepts we all need to master...unlike Sachi...:S

So the final exam is not just modified Broverman questions?

Randell: "see you next week."

Mike: "I like rice, who likes rice?"
