yea, i suggest someone moves this thread to the school section? more schoolers would end up reading it

i want to go, but i wonda what new information wud they provide about the course, coz i am basically aware of most of the elements of the course from reading the maq website...Wud they provide ne information which is beyond what is available on the website

they'll have speakers such as graduates, 4th and3rd yr students giving speeches about their experiences & life at uni as an actuary student etc. Me and flamin' will also be there answering questions during the day.

Mack:
4u maths isn't a prerequisite for actuarial studies. You will be slightly disadvantaged in integration, but most ppl who didnt do 4u chose a 1st yr course involving math135 and math136 which will teach you 4u. You will come out of those courses in better condition thatn if you did do 4u. As for ppl who did 4u like me...I forgot 4u after my 4u exam so..=p

The event is an information morning. There are approx 3-4 guest speakers. So I'd say it won't be longer than 2hrs. Then there question time afterwoods. So depending on when your workshop starts...I don't think it'd go past lunch.

You could just use the lost password option whereby BoS just sends you a new activation code. I'm sure you still have your email account password :p
