Do the degree you are interested in, no point doing something you won't even likelyounamu said:I am interested. Looked at all sorts of things related to actuarial course at Macquarie and UNSW. Very much aware of job that actuary does as well.
However, what is the most popular double degree? I am interested in Economics/Actuarial course or Finance/Actuarial course. Apparently Law/Actuarial is not popular at all.
Well, can anyone tell me good double degrees?
"Popular" degrees usually have reason behind its popularity. The reason why I asked for popularity was to see why it is popular and why it seems attractive to many people.pLuvia said:Do the degree you are interested in, no point doing something you won't even like
And does it really matter if it is popular or not?
I would not really be attracted by pay. I would certainly do any course where I can do what I like - Mathematics and Commerce - and get challenged.YannY said:its popular because its high pay lolz. The course itself is quite hard.
Most students do Actuarial with App. Finance, but yeh take the second degree if you're interested in it.lyounamu said:I am interested. Looked at all sorts of things related to actuarial course at Macquarie and UNSW. Very much aware of job that actuary does as well.

What is Co-op? Anyone bother to explain?weiwern28 said:From what I gathered, the 2 units in Part III being outsourced to MU is meant for all that will be studying their Part IIIs.
Go for either Macq or UNSW though the latter if you can get Co-op because thats definately an advantage.
It doesn't really compliment each other, or so I've heard from current acst/law students. You'll really be putting one hard degree with another hard degree with equals an even harder degree lolmidifile said:Are there any benefis to doing acturarial studies/law.
I was planning on doing commerce/law (if i got the uai) but now im thinking of actuarial studies, so should I just not worry about law?
Not quite sure about that...YannY said:its popular because its high pay lolz.
