Series 1 Leisure course for piano, AMEB has Beethoven's Adagio sostenuto listed for Grade 7.
Does anyone here know exactly which Opus this is. It could be a movement from two different sonatas - or even something completely different?

As I know the first movement of Moonlight Sonata - I am hoping that this is the same one required for the Syllabus, though it seems a bit too easy. Shame the syllabus doesn't detail the works more precisely - a gambit to make you unecessarily buy their publications perhaps?

I'm looking to do the Leisure 7 mid next year for exam practice and then my full Grade 7 as soon as possible afterwards.

I don't know which is it, because I'm only doing Grade 5 but if you go to a music store and have a look at the book you can see if if it's the opus that you're thinking of or if it's another.

The first movement of the Moonlight may be easy - but it's hard to play Well.
